Eugene T. “Gene” Gryn, of Churchville, died peacefully on Sunday, July 3, 2011 at his home in Churchville. He was 54.

He was the beloved husband of 12 years to Kathleen M. Dunn Gryn. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Doris C. Muldoon Gryn and the late Eugene A. Gryn.

Gene was a resident of Churchville for the past 20 years. He was a graduate of Council Rock High School, class of 1976 and received his degree in Business Administration from Temple University in 1986. Gene has spent his professional career in the insurance industry working as a sales manager for Prudential Insurance Co., for over 10 years and the past 4 years with SOS Personal Property Specialists, Inc.

Gene had an ear for music and loved playing his guitar with his cousin, Scott. He was an avid Phillies and Flyers fan and also enjoyed NASCAR Racing. He had an extensive collection of Three Stooges memorabilia and coins. He loved riding his “Fatboy” Harley Davidson and looked forward to his many road trips. He will be sadly missed by his loving and devoted family.

In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his daughter, Jessica C. Gryn, his step children; Kristine J. McManus and her husband Shawn, Erin E. Luxich and her husband Matt, his 2 sisters, Marie E. Gryn and Dorrie M. Pisani and her husband Chris and their children, Robin, Danielle, Kristin and Christopher. He is also survived by his dear grandchildren; Hannah, Isabella, Lauren, Joseph, Dylan, Brian and his faithful companion “Gracie”.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Saturday July 9, 2011 from 12 Noon until his Funeral Service 2:00pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to American Cancer Society 1626 Locust St. Phila PA 19111.
