Francis J. Gindhart Jr., of New Hope, PA died on Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at Doylestown Hospital. He was 70.

He was the beloved husband of 21 years to Janet M. Daniels Gindhart.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Francis J. and Mary Groves Gindhart.

Frank was a resident of Buckingham since 1995, having formerly lived in Northeast Philadelphia. He was a graduate of Mercy Technical School. He worked for Crown Printing Company as a driver for over 10 years. He went to work on the production line for Congoleum Corp. of Trenton NJ in 1990 and retiring in 2004. For the past 7 years Frank has been a school bus driver for the New Hope - Solebury School District.

Frank was a communicant of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Buckingham. He was devoted to his wife and family and especially his grandchildren who were the sparkle in his eye.

In addition to his beloved wife he is survived by his children Mark Gindhart and his wife Karen of Blakeslee, PA, Joseph DiGiovanni and his wife Kristina of Burlington, NJ, Kimberly Dillon and her husband Michael of Pipersville, PA, Linda Neilson and her husband James of Warrington, PA, Cynthia Gindhart of Doylestown, PA, Glen Gindhart of Perkasie, his 2 brothers William Gindhart of Blakeslee, PA, and Ronald Gindhart of Philadelphia, and his sister Rosemary McDonough of Buckingham, PA. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Sunday evening August 7, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and on Monday morning from 9:00 am until 10:15 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro and to his Funeral Mass 11:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Buckingham, PA 18902.
Interment will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1626 Locust St., Phila. PA 19103.
