Frederick Stoll Engelhardt of Holland, PA died suddenly on Monday, August 8, 2011, at his residence. He was 75.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Max Emil and Helene Martha Stoll Engelhardt and brother of the late Horace Engelhardt.

Mr. Engelhardt, known as Fritz to his friends, was a resident of Holland for the past 49 years. He graduated from Upper Southampton/Warminster High School, Class of 1955. Before retiring in 1997, he was employed by the Council Rock School District in the maintenance department for over 25 years. He was a proud Army veteran having served during the Vietnam War. Fritz was a member of VFW Post # 273 in Southampton, PA. He received his pilot’s license and enjoyed flying planes. In his leisure time, Fritz enjoyed boating, building models, and painting outdoor scenery. He also loved different styles of music.

He is survived by his two nephews, Gary C. Engelhardt and Jeffrey D. Engelhardt, and his niece, Gail A. Knight, all of Florida.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service on Sunday, September 4, 2011, at 11:30 AM at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 877 Street Road, Southampton, PA 18966. Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church at the above address.
