John J. McIlmoyle “Jack” of Doylestown, PA died suddenly on Monday, August 22, 2011, at his residence. He was 63.

Born in Trenton, NJ, he was the son of Dorothy Smith Franklin of Doylestown, PA and the late John J. McIlmoyle Sr. and his late step father, R.G. Franklin.

Jack was a resident of Doylestown, PA for most of his life. He was a graduate of Central Bucks West High School, Class of 1966, and was a veteran of the Air Force having served during the Vietnam War. Jack was the founder and operator of K & J Hardwood Flooring located in Doylestown. He installed residential and commercial flooring for many years. In his leisure time, he enjoyed model trains and open wheel car racing, especially Formula 1. He will be sadly missed as a loving father, grandfather, son and brother.

He is survived by his two children, Sean McIlmoyle and his wife, Meredith, of Anacortes, WA, and Tiffani M. McIlmoyle and Joshua Hargrave of Quakertown, PA. He is also survived by his brother, Thomas McIlmoyle of Hilltown, PA and his three grandchildren; Brayden, Connor, and Jameson.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday evening, August 29, 2011, from 6:00 PM until his Funeral Service 7:30 PM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Avenue (Route 202 & Sandy Ridge Road), New Britain, PA 18901. Interment will be private.
