Sarah Elizabeth Pulaski of Richboro, PA passed on to her Lord on Friday, September 2, 2011, at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, TN, in the arms of her loving mother and father. Sarah had fought a long and courageous battle with leukemia since January 2, 2010. She was 11.

She was the beloved daughter of Michael J. and René J. Paradis Pulaski.

Born in Wilmington, DE, Sarah lived in Richboro and Churchville for the past five years. She was a student at Maureen M. Welch Elementary School in Churchville where she was entering sixth grade. Sarah’s favorite subjects in school were math and reading. In her leisure time, she enjoyed dancing. She enjoyed all types of dance: Jazz, Ballet and Lyrical but Jazz was special to her. Sarah was a member of the competition team at Elite Dance Academy in Richboro. She also loved animals and tried to save them one at a time. Sarah adored doing crafts and painting, she spent her free time, painting pottery or working with mommy on an art project. She loved cooking and the cooking channels intrigued her. She loved her brother and spent a lot of time with him swimming and playing games. Sarah was loved by many and had considered her friends her extended family.

She will be sadly missed as a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and cousin.

In addition to her loving parents, Sarah is survived and missed dearly by her brother, Ryan Michael Pulaski, her maternal grandparents, Linda Paradis of Alpharetta, GA, Jerry Paradis and his wife, Candice Turgeon, of Cape Cod, MA, and her paternal grandparents, William and Mary Pulaski of Glassboro, NJ. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, September 8, 2011, at St. John’s United Methodist Church, 820 Almshouse Road, Ivyland, PA 18974. Interment will take place at Union Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the D’Angelo Foundation. You can donate at http://thedangelofoundation.org/Pulaski_Family_Fund.html or mail a check to the D’Angelo Foundation for the Pulaski Family Fund, 4671 East Street Road, Trevose, PA 19053. Donations will ultimately be directed in Sarah’s name to the non-profit organization that runs Child Life. This organization was so helpful to Sarah during her journey.
