Richard J. Queppet of Trevose, PA died suddenly on Friday, September 16, 2011, at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne. He was 70.

He was the beloved husband of Eleanor A. Conroy Queppet for 47 years.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Baltazar and Lillian Ross Queppet and father of the late Jeffrey R. Queppet who passed away in February 2011.

Mr. Queppet was a resident of Trevose for the past 38 years. He graduated from Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia, Class of 1959 and attended Temple University. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army having served stateside and overseas. For many years, he was employed as a manager at various electronics companies, including Microcom Corp. and AEL, working in the field of defense contracts. After his retirement, he joined his wife working in their pet sitting business, Lov-in-Care. In his leisure time, he was an avid golfer and a devoted Philadelphia sports fan. He also enjoyed spending time with his dogs, Dixie and Dottie. He will be sadly missed as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle.

In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Krista Scheffler and her husband, Scott, of Morrisville, Nikki Krassen and her husband, Paul, of Plymouth Meeting and his daughter-in-law, Sandy Queppet of Holland. He is also survived by his five grandchildren: Julie, Emily, Miles, Eli and Aidan; and by his two brothers, Joseph Queppet and his wife, Jean, of Fort Worth, TX and Robert Queppet and his wife, Betty, of East Petersburg, PA, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday, September 21, 2011, from 9:30 AM until his Funeral Mass 10:30 AM at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 1900 Meadowbrook Road, Feasterville, PA 19053.

Interment will take place at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne.
