Frances Mary Mooney of Levittown died suddenly on Wednesday, December 7, 2011.

Fran was the beloved wife of the late John J, Mooney. She was born in New York, NY, the daughter of the late Francis and Theresa Imp. She had six brothers and sisters.

Raised in Astoria, NY, Fran graduated as the Senior Class President from Julia Richmond High, Manhattan, NY. Following her graduation she worked as an executive secretary. Fran and John and their five children moved to Levittown in 1957 and were original Levittown homeowners. Fran worked at Strawbridge and Clothier for over 20 years.

Fran is survived by her brothers Henry and Ray, and her loving children, Pam, Deb, Mary, Jack and Sue, 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing December 16, 2011 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Rd. Levittown, PA 19056 followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 am. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory maybe made to the Association for the Blind, 400 Freedom Dr., Newtown, PA 18940.
