Rachel Gomolka, formerly of the Kensington section of Philadelphia, died peacefully on Thursday, December 8, 2011, at Crestview Center, Langhorne. She was 89.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Balbina Witalis Gomolka.

Rachel was a resident of Philadelphia for all of her life. She was a member of Union Polonia in Philadelphia. Rachel was very devoted to her parents throughout their lifetime and her family was a very important part of her life. She will be sadly missed as a loving sister and aunt.

She is survived by her two sisters, Ruth C. Benson and her husband, Charles, of Holland, PA and Esther McCommit and her husband, James, of Warminster, PA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday, December 14, 2011, from 8:30 AM until 9:30 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Road), Richboro, PA 18954 and to her Funeral Mass 10:00 AM at St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Road, Holland, PA.

Interment will take place at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne, PA.
