June K. Prutzman Mink Fluehr of Lafayette Redeemer died on Tuesday, December 20, 2011, at Jefferson Hospital.
She was the beloved wife of 47 years to the late Matthew Mink and 14 years to the late Joseph A. Fluehr Jr. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mary Morris Prutzman.
June was a resident of Levittown and Southampton before moving to Lafayette Redeemer in 2009. June’s professional career spanned many years working in the fashion industry as a buyer for the former Pomeroy’s Department Store and several others in the Philadelphia area. June, as she would tell you, was the luckiest women in the world to have had the fortune to have had two wonderful marriages and an extended family that was so very supportive to her. “Gigi”, as she was known to her grandchildren and great grandchildren, was a woman of many talents; she was an avid reader, card player and an excellent shopper. She looked forward to playing games with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who had the opportunity to know and love her.
June is survived by her devoted children, Ferne A. Abramson and her husband Gilbert Abramson, Esq., of Upper Gwynedd, her son Gary W. Mink and his wife Linda of Harvey Cedars, NJ. She was dearest stepmother of Joseph A. Fluehr III (Christine M.), James M. Fluehr (Helene), Edythe Merritt (Robert), E. Andrea Albert (John DMD), Thomas Fluehr Sr. (Susan), Mary T. McQuiggan (John), Lawrence L. Fluehr, Margaret Mary Bauer (Mark), her 6 loving grandchildren; Andrew S. Abramson Esq. (Margo), Lisa J. Goldstein Esq. (Philip), Marla A. Joseph Esq. (David R. Esq.), Jeanenne Weinstein (Nick), Matthew Mink (Andrea), and Garrett Mink, 7 great grandchildren, 18 step grandchildren and 12 step-great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to call Friday from 9:30 a.m. until her Words of Remembrance, 11:00 a.m. at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro.
