Jane E. Gindhart of Pipersville died suddenly on Friday, January 13, 2012 at Doylestown Hospital. She was 70.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late William and Catherine New Smith.

Jane was a former resident of Philadelphia before moving to Bucks County 20 years ago. She was a graduate of Northeast High School; Jane worked for Lincoln Investment Planning in Jenkintown as an Administrative Assistant for over 20 years.

Jane was a devoted mother and extremely spoiling grandmother who loved her special time with her grandchildren and her great granddaughter. Jane also enjoyed her trips to the Jersey Shore with family and friends. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

Jane is survived by her loving children, Mark Gindhart and his wife Karen of Blakeslee, PA, Kimberly Dillon and her husband Michael of Pipersville, Cynthia Gindhart of Warrington and Glen Gindhart of Perkasie. She is also survived by her brother, Robert Smith and his wife Laura of Philadelphia, her sisters, Ethel Kennedy and her husband Jay of Hilltown and Linda Hennessy of Philadelphia and her 11 special grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.

Jane’s family will receive condolences, on Tuesday evening January 17, from 6:00pm until her Memorial Service at 7:30pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Avenue (Route 202 and Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain. Interment will be private.
