Mary Louise Varricchione-Lyon age 77, died in Doylestown Hospital on Monday, January 16, 2012.
She was the daughter of Frank and Simone Poulin Varricchione. Mary Louise graduated from Cathedral High School in Burlington, Vt., from Boston Conservatory, and received a Masters Degree from Manhattanville College.
She spent her adult life in the field of music and was a talented and skilled organist and choral director. She worked as a church musician in Vermont, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
Mary Louise is survived by her husband George of Buckingham and her son George Lyon, IV from Brooklyn. She was proud of her Varricchione family from which she came and is survived by all of her siblings: Louis and Sally from California, Pauline and Jack from Florida, Phillip and Kay from Vermont, James and Donna from Pennsylvania, Terresa and Tom from Vermont, John and Joanne from Vermont, and Thom and Judy from Massachusetts.
Mary Louise’s family will receive condolences from family and friends on Monday, January 23, 2012 from 10:30AM until her Memorial Service 11:00AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Avenue (Route 202 and Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that donations be made to Doylestown Hospital 595 West State St. Doylestown, PA 18901.
