Kimberly A. Macheski, of New Britain, PA, surrounded by her family, passed away and entered into Heaven on Wednesday, September 3, 2014. She was 49.

She was the deeply beloved wife of David B. Dorman.

Born in Warminster, PA on February 10, 1965, Kimberly was the daughter of Robert Macheski and Fay Barilla Macheski of Jamison.

She graduated from William Tenant High School in 1984 and earned a bachelors degree in Art from the University of Delaware in 1987. Professionally, Kimberly was one of the foremost talented publishing industry art directors in the Philadelphia area and carved out a brilliant 27-year career with various companies ending while she was with Pentavision, Inc.

Kimberly was a beautiful woman in every way and a love magnet for all who met her. She collected and kept friends throughout her life, from all facets of her life and from each chapter in her life. Without consciously trying, she brought to this world a rare and accepting warmth that drew people to her and made them feel safe in her presence. Her smile, so inviting and genuine, made everyone who met her feel valued, important, considered and welcomed. What she brought to her marriage, to her family, to her husband’s family, to her friendships, to her colleagues, or to a party, an event or a night out, is difficult to fully put into words — but whatever it was it made everything better!

Kimberly greatly enjoyed travelling and was especially enthralled by the many places she went throughout the Caribbean, snorkeling her way through those crystal blue waters. She possessed great pride in her home of Bucks County, too, always talking about and showing off its undeniable charm. She took phenomenal care of herself with her commitment to fitness and healthy eating habits, but she splurged, and loved to laugh and have fun, in just the right amounts — resulting in being the beauty in the room that anyone was comfortable approaching.

In addition to her loving husband and parents, she is also survived by her brother Robert Macheski and his wife, Karin, of South Carolina; sister Karen Caparro and husband, Lou, of Horsham; nephews Matthew Caparro and Jake Macheski and niece Annmarie Macheski; and her adorable Maltese puppy, Finley.

Kimberly’s family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, September 8, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, PA 18901 and on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 from 9:30 am until her Funeral Liturgy, 10:30 am at St. Robert Bellarmine, 856 Euclid Avenue, Warrington, PA 18976. Her interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 856, Euclid Avenue, Warrington, PA 18796 or Peace Valley Nature Center, 170 N. Chapman Road, Doylestown, PA 18901.
