William H. Gindhart of Long Pond, PA died peacefully on Thursday, March 8, 2012, at Wilkes-Barre Veterans Administration Medical Center. He was 67.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Francis J. and Mary R. Groves Gindhart and brother of the late Francis J. Gindhart.

Mr. Gindhart was a recent resident of Long Pond and a life-long resident of Philadelphia. He was a proud Army Vietnam veteran. He was proudly employed at the Department of Defense, Naval Depot, in Defense Mapping Agency for many years, and also at the University of Pennsylvania in maintenance area for many years.

He will be sadly missed as a devoted brother, uncle and friend to all who knew him.

He is survived by his sister, Rose Mary McDonough of New Hope, PA, his brother, Ronald R. Gindhart of Philadelphia, 6 nieces and 3 nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Monday, March 12, 2012, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Tuesday, March 13, 2012, from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Road) Richboro, PA 18954 and to his Funeral Mass 10:00 AM at the Church of Saint Andrew, 81 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA 18940.

Interment will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
