Charles “Larry” L. Briggs of Bensalem, PA died on Tuesday, March 20, 2012, at his residence. He was 57.

He was the husband of Marianne B. McCarty Briggs for 33 years.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Charles R. Briggs and his wife Sylvia of Ronks, PA and the late Ruth E. Spannruft Briggs.

Mr. Briggs was a resident of Bensalem for 25 years. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Philadelphia, Class of 1972 and attended Pennco Technical School studying electronics for 2 years. He was a former employee of Bacharach Instrument Company and Scott Emergency Lighting of Bensalem. He was a proud veteran of the U. S. Air Force. In his leisure time, he enjoyed bowling, golfing and snow skiing.

In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by his son, Charles L. Briggs Jr. of Bensalem and his brother, Ronald F. Briggs and his wife, Dorothy, of Holland, PA. He is also survived by his two special Labrador Retrievers, Brutus and Koko.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday evening, March 22, 2012, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Friday, March 23, 2012, from 8:30 AM until his Funeral Service 9:30 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road, Richboro , PA 18954.

Interment will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.
