Venora M. Scott of Buckingham died Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Buckingham Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was 100 years of age.

Venora was the beloved wife of the late Thomas W. Scott.

Born in Bristol, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Venora Petitt Dewsnap.

Venora was a lifelong resident of Bucks County. She had lived in various communities including Bristol, Yardley, Newtown, and Richboro and most recently in Buckingham Springs in New Hope. She was a life long member of the Addisville Reformed Church in Richboro. Gram and Mimi as she was known to her family, was an avid reader and enjoyed completing puzzle books and hand crafts including crocheting. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, loving and doting grandmother and great grandmother and will be deeply missed by all.

Venora is survived by her devoted children, Thomas W. Scott, Jr. and his wife Judith of Leesburg, FL and Shirley A. Adams and her husband Roger L. of New Hope. She is also survived by her 5 grand children Deborah Salvatore, Karen McQueen, Roger L. Adams, Jr., Kimberly Matyi and Amy Adams and her 10 great grandchildren; Stephen, Brian and Amanda Adams, Jennifer Salvatore, Nicholas and Melanie Matyi, Sean, Sam, Melissa and Casey Andris.

Venora’s Family will receive condolences on Saturday, March 24 from 9:00am until her Funeral Service 10:00am at the Addisville Reformed Church, 945 Second St. Pike, Richboro, PA 18954.

Interment will follow at the Newtown Cemetery in Newtown.
