Margaret J. “Peggy” Magilton, of Northeast Philadelphia passed peacefully from this world on Thursday, March 22, 2012, surrounded by her loving children. She fought a short and courageous battle against complications from breast cancer, ultimately succumbing to respiratory failure. She was 72.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Mary Haas; one of 11 children she was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

Peg was a resident of the Oxford Circle section for 47 years and she attended Little Flower High School. She was very devoted to her family especially her grandchildren who where the sparkle in her eye.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, making people laugh and caring for others. Taking photos of her family was her passion and looked forward to taking as many pictures as possible. She will be sadly missed by her loving and caring family.

Peg is survived by her devoted children and their spouses; Margaret M. Shewbrooks and her husband Robert, Robert A. Magilton Jr. and his wife Britt and Theresa Magilton, she was the loving grandmother to 7 special grandchildren; Caitlin, Meaghan, Elizabeth, Ryan, Sean, Hailey and Katherine, she is also survived by her 3 sisters and 3 brothers.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Wednesday eve from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and Thursday morning from 8:15am to 9:15am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 241 E. Butler Ave. (Rt. 202 and Sandy Ridge Rd.) New Britain, and to her Funeral Mass 10:00am at Our Lady Guadalupe Church 5175 Cold Spring Creamery Rd. Doylestown, PA 18902. Interment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.
