Our favorite entertainer Joseph Francis Grippi has sung his last song and danced his last dance on Monday, May 7, 2012.

Joe was the beloved husband for 51 years to the late Therese Phelan Grippi who had passed in 2007.

Born and raised in Old Forge, PA, Joe was the son of the late Mary Fabbo and Vincenzo “Jimmy” Grippi.

Joe graduated from Keystone College, served in the Korean War with the Air Force from 1951 to 1955 and eventually settled down in Doylestown. He brought smiles to everyone’s face by singing and dancing.

Joe spent his life working in various aspects of the medical field and was the recipient of multiple national awards for his work in the lab and then in sales.

Joe is survived by his children, Joseph Neale Grippi of Doylestown and Tara and James Stoop of Sellersville, his grandchildren Heather & Nathan, Chloe & Michael, Brian and his great grandson Brayden. He is also survived by his sisters and brother, Francis Cianni of Ardsley, NY, Sue Muzzi and James Grippi of Scott Township, PA, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to call Saturday, May 19 from 12:30pm until his Memorial Service 1:00pm from the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 E. Butler Ave (Route 202 at Sandy Ridge Road) New Britain. Interment will be private.
