Rosemarie Gizzi Petrites (nee Heaton) of Newtown, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2014 with her loving family by her side. She was 71.

Cherished mother of Denise (Greg) Krier, Diane (Bill) Edwards, Chris Pieczynski and Jim (Mary) Gizzi.  Adoring grandmother of Sean, Shanna, Ashley, Melissa, LB, Braden, Jess, Austin, Caeli, Kia, Chloe, Nick and great-grandmom to Ziggy and Leeanna.  She was the beloved sister of John (Arlene), Joe (Marge) and Michele Heaton.  Rosemarie was predeceased by her mother Viola, her brother Jimmy and grandson Keith.

Rose lived life to the fullest. She loved to travel and she was full of adventure.  Incredibly talented, she enjoyed cooking, baking, crafts and crocheting.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Her kindness and generosity touched so many lives. She will be deeply missed as a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Rosemarie’s family will receive condolences on Friday November 14, from 8:00 am to 10:15 am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, and to her Funeral Mass 11:00am at the Church of St. Andrew Church, 81 Swamp Rd, Newtown. Interment will be private.

Contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Serious Fun Children’s Network.
