Frederick W. Frey Jr.

February 5th, 2018

Frederick W. Frey Jr. passed away peacefully on Monday February 5, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was 76 years old.

Born in Philadelphia, he served in the US Army and was a longtime resident of Holland PA.

Frederick was the beloved husband of Patricia of 54 years. He is survived by his three children, Kimberly Lindsey of Holland, Larry Frey (Tara) of Wrightstown PA and Michael Frey (Helene) of Bethlehem PA. He was the devoted and proud Pop-Pop to his 5 grandchildren, Alexandra, Morgan, Nick, Natalie and Sofia.

Services and interment were held privately by the family.

Anne P. Hinkel (Petsis)

February 4th, 2018

Anne Petsis Hinkel of Horsham went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 4, 2018 in the comfort of her home with her family by her side.  She was 91. 

Anne was preceded in death by two wonderful and loving husbands, William Hinkel and Jack Lasich and six siblings.

Born in Philadelphia she was a daughter of the late Peter and Olympia Petsis.

Surviving are her three cherished children, Donna Beath (Bill) of Horsham, Billy Hinkel (Lisa) of Whitehaven, PA and David Hinkel (Charlene) of Bradenton, FL; her grandchildren, Jodi Lee Hinkel (Terry) and David Matthew Hinkel; and her great-grandson, Ayden.  She also leaves behind her sisters, Esther and Betty; and her brothers, Steve and Victor.  Also, her beloved canine companions Ian and Fiona will greatly miss her as will her extended family in Montana.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 9:30 AM until the start of her life celebration at 11:00 AM at Pleasantville United Church of Christ, 3424 Limekiln Pike, Chalfont, PA 18914.  Her interment will take place privately in George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting.

William J. Cebular

February 3rd, 2018

William J. Cebular, of Doylestown, PA, died Saturday, February 3, 2018.  He was 96 years old.

He was the beloved husband of 60 years to the late Frances Kozlevcar Cebular and father of the late William R. Cebular.

Born in Vandling, PA, he was the fifth child of the late Ignatz and Frances Cerar Cebular.

He is survived by his loving daughter, Margaret “Peggy” Sfamurri and her husband Daniel of Doylestown, PA and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral viewing on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 9:30 AM until his Funeral Mass, 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 5194 Cold Spring Creamery Road, Doylestown, PA 18902.  His interment will be held at 2:30 PM in St. Joseph Parish Cemetery, 1100 Susquehanna St. Forest City, PA 18421.

Wayne A. Fluri

February 3rd, 2018

Wayne A. Fluri of Langhorne died Saturday, February 3, 2018 at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. He was 70.

Wayne was the beloved husband of Olha Bero Fluri.

Born in Hazelton, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Marion Santilli Fluri and the brother of the late David B. Fluri.

Wayne was a longtime resident of Bucks County who has resided in both Feasterville and Langhorne for many years. He was an accomplished salesman who had worked for various firms in the telecommunication industry until his retirement. In his leisure, he was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending quality times with his family especially his grandchildren. Wayne will be deeply missed by his loving family and by all who came to know him.

In addition to his wife Olha, Wayne is survived by his children, Ashlee Ufolla and her husband Nicholas of Sellersville and Brett Fluri of Bensalem, Michael Fluri of Holland and Matthew Fluri of Levittown.  He is also survived by his 4 cherished grandchildren, Shane, Jaden, Ella and Emma.

Robert B. Parker

February 3rd, 2018

Robert B. Parker of Warwick died Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown surrounded by his loving family.

Robert was the beloved husband of the late Kathleen Ann Parker.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Walter and Esther Parker, the father of the late Donna McGinnis and was predeceased by his 6 brothers and sisters.

Robert was a former resident of the Somerton section of Philadelphia before moving to Warwick in 1998. He was a former communicant of St. Christopher Church in Philadelphia and was presently a communicant at St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church in Jamison where he attended mass daily. He was a graduate of North Catholic High School in Philadelphia and proudly served our country in the United States Army. Robert had worked in the Purchasing and Shipping departments with the Aero Company in Philadelphia and eventually with the Ferrag Company in Bristol until his retirement. He will be deeply missed by his family and by all who came to know him.

Robert is survived by his 2 daughters; Kathleen M. O’Neill and her husband Brian of Langhorne and Beth M. Edwards and her husband John of Jamison. He is also survived by his sister Rita Novalinski of Yardley and his 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing from 10:00am until his Funeral Mass 11:00am on Friday, February 9th in St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church, 1410 Almshouse Road, Jamison, PA 18929. Robert’s interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem.

Lessie Mae Sanchez (Locklear)

Lessie Mae Sanchez, 84, of Brandon, FL passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018, with her loving family at her side. She was preceded in death by her sons, Andrew, Paul and Otis Spaulding.

Lessie is survived by her children, Dessa Nunlist, Jeani Sanchez, George Joey Sanchez, Cynthia Sanchez, Teresa Wade, Paula Sanchez-Cummings, and Brandi Sanchez and her last remaining sister, Bessie Cook. She is also survived by her; 21 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at 10:00am on Saturday, February 24th in Calvary Chapel Central Bucks, 150 E. Butler Avenue, Chalfont, PA 18914 .  Lessie’s interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Bensalem.

Carol Jean Morwald-Glendenning

February 2nd, 2018

Carol Jean Morwald-Glendenning of Ottsville, PA died peacefully on Friday February 2, 2018, at Fox Chase Cancer Center, with her loving family by her side. She was 48.

Born in Philadelphia she was the soul-mate of James F. Glendenning for over 33 years, the daughter of the late Jeanne Dutkiewicz Coverdale, and daughter-in-law of the late Jay Glendenning, she is the daughter of William J. Morwald and his wife Mary Morwald and step-daughter of Frank R. Coverdale.

Carol Jean was a resident of Ottsville, for the past 20 years, having formerly lived in Gardenville. She was a graduate of Central Bucks East High School, class of 1987. Carol’s sales and managerial skills were evident as she worked for over 24 years for Tom Mellett Automobile Sales Inc. of Glenside, as Sales Manager and Senior Sales Consultant for Leasing and Rental for Corporate Accounts.

Carol enjoyed doing crafts, looked forward to outdoor adventures. Baking and cooking were always a part of her life, a trait she inherited from her grandmother Wilhelmina Morwald. Carol and James never had children, but her loving and caring ways were ever present in the way she loved her nieces and nephews. She had many causes and one was with the former Twining Brook Dog Rescue Farm, and over many years she and James helped maintain a positive life for homeless dogs; she and James still support charities that rescue dogs.

Carol will be remembered for her loving hugs and caring ways to family and friends. She always put others before herself.

In addition to her beloved James, her father and step- mother, she is survived by her 2 brothers and their wives William C. Morwald and his wife Colleen and Joseph C. Morwald and his wife Trish Fluehr Morwald. Her mother-in-law, June Glendenning, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Gail Glendenning, Brad and Paula Glendenning, Gary and Jennifer Glendenning, her Uncle Robert K. Morwald, nieces and nephews, Joseph C. and James D. Morwald, Ashley V. Frisbee, Matthew, Adam, Troy and Hope Glendenning and a great nephew Waylon Frisbee.

Carol’s family will receive condolences on Thursday February 8, 2018 from 9:00am until her Funeral Service 11:00am in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church 301 North Main St. Doylestown, PA 18901. Interment will follow in Doylestown Cemetery, Doylestown.

Antonietta Spiritoso (Pescatore)

February 1st, 2018

Antonietta (nee Pescatore) Spiritoso, of Pipersville, PA died peacefully on Thursday, February 1, 2018, with her family by her side.  She was 87.

She was the beloved wife of 28 years to Gaetano Spiritoso.

Born in Abington, PA, she was the daughter of Alexander and Maria Guiseppe Pescatore.

Antonietta was born in the United States, but spent the majority of her childhood living in her family’s home town of Paternopoli, Avellino, Italy.  At age 18, she returned with her mother to reunite with her father back in the States.  With little formal education, she overcame adversity and quickly learned English, building a life for herself in the family restaurant business.

Her time in Italy was most impactful for it was there where she learned the value of family, food, and tradition, values which she cultivated with her own children. Cooking was a true love and talent, highlighted by her long career as a Chef, both in the ownership of Alex’s Restaurant in Willow Grove, PA, and later in many other well-known restaurants near her family home in Huntingdon Valley, PA.  She was well known for her cooking prowess, leadership in the kitchen, and her strong work ethic.

A true family Matriarch, Antonietta loved to be surrounded by her family and Sunday dinners were a long time tradition. They focused on food, celebration, and her grandchildren, whom she cherished and adored. 

In addition to her husband, she is also survived by her children Rosemarie Fisher and her husband Andy of Doylestown, Joann Bellucci of Horsham, John Bellucci and his wife Jeanne of Culpeper, VA, Dena McLaughlin and her husband Kevin of Doylestown, and her sister Maria Caporizzo of Maple Glen. She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren; Nicole, Maddy, Allie, Andrew, John and Katie.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Monday, February 5, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 241 E. Butler Ave. (at Sandy Ridge Rd.) Agnes R. Jones (Rogers)

Agnes R. Jones, 90, of Yardley died Thursday, February 1, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Agnes was the beloved wife of 70 years to James Jones.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Mary Clark Rogers.

Agnes was a former resident of Iselin, NJ later moving to Texas before settling in Yardley in 1994. She worked for over 20 years in the Banking industry as head teller until her retirement. She traveled extensively with her husband Jim and loved cruising.

Agnes was a cherished Mother and Grandmother and the joy of her life was her family and friends.  She was blessed with an amazing personality and lived life to the fullest with no regrets. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who came to know and love her.

In addition to her husband James, Agnes is survived by her children, Deborah Agnes Jones of Yardley, James Jones and his wife Denise of Robbinsville, NJ, and her grandchildren, Christopher Jones and Stephanie and Carmen Napoli. She is also survived by her brother Joseph Rogers and his wife Joan of West Chester, PA.

Marie A. Gardella (Fantozzi)

January 31st, 2018

Marie A. Gardella, of Langhorne, PA and formerly of Long Island, NY and Newtown, PA, died on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Crestview Center in Langhorne. She was 94.

Born in Queens, NY, she was the beloved wife of the late William J. Gardella and the daughter of the late Louis and Jennie Mazzenga Fantozzi.

Marie and her husband William were honored as Volunteers of the year at St. Francis Heart Hospital in Long Island after many years of dedicated service.  She enjoyed partaking in events with the Newtown Seniors, time spent knitting and crocheting, but she cherished all the time she spent with her beloved family.  Marie will be greatly missed but eternally loved and remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. 

She is survived by her loving and devoted daughter and son-in-law Joan M. Bisaccio and Robert of Holland.  She is also survived by her grandson Michael Bisaccio and his wife Jenine and her three great grandchildren Madeline, Josephine, and Jonathan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Monday, February 5, 2018 from 10:00 am until her Funeral Mass 11:30 am in the Olde Church of St. Andrew, 131 Sycamore St. Newtown, PA 18940.  Interment to follow at St. Andrew Cemetery.
