Lois B. Lentine

Lois B. Lentine, beloved wife, mother and grandmother lost her brave battle with leukemia on Monday, October 22, 2012. She was 74 years old.

Born in Coaldale, PA, she had resided for the past 58 years in Langhorne, Bucks County. She was retired from the Neshaminy School District where she was an instructional assistant for Special Education. After her retirement and until her death, Lois was the active owner of Lentine Mower Center in Langhorne, PA.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Michael L. Lentine along with their children, son Michael T. Lentine and wife Joanne of Langhorne, PA; son Guy R. Lentine of Easton, PA and daughter Karen R. Parker and husband George of Doylestown, PA. She was the proud grandmother of Jennifer and Michael J.Lentine and Sara and Bryan Uricchio.

Lois will be greatly missed by her sister Kay Burcin and husband Robert of Madison, NJ along with numerous relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at the Lutheran Church of God’s Love, 791 Newtown Yardley Road in Newtown, PA at 10am on Thursday, October 25, 2012.

The family has requested donations in her memory be made to the Leukemia Society, 555 North Lane Suite 5010 Conshohocken, PA 19428.

Anna C. Donahue (Logan)

October 21st, 2012

Anna C. Donahue of Hatboro, formerly of Southwest Philadelphia, died Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Abington Memorial Hospital in Abington. She was 92.

Anna was the beloved wife of the late James A. Donahue, Sr.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Samuel R. and Annie Marron Logan, and sister to the late Dorothy Kelly, Eileen Kenny, and Samuel R. Logan, Jr.
Anna was a proud 1937 graduate of West Catholic Girls’ High School. After her marriage, Anna and her husband Jim lived on Kingsessing Ave. in Philadelphia, and then moved to Eagle Rd. in Havertown in 1982. After Jim passed away in 1985, Anna moved to West Chester and subsequently to Luther Park in Hatboro.

She was a member of the former Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Philadelphia.

In earlier years, Anna enjoyed crocheting afghans and making Halloween costumes for her grandchildren. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed.

Anna is survived by her sons: James A. Donahue, Jr. and his wife Linda of Churchville, Thomas F. Donahue and his wife Jacqueline of Havertown, John M. Donahue and his wife Mary Murray of West Chester, and Gerard J. Donahue and his wife Sharon of Churchville; her grandchildren: James A. Donahue III and his wife Karen, Lisa M. Donahue and her husband Kenneth Rose, Robert F. Donahue, Carolyn M. Jurbala and her husband Daryl, Lt. Kathleen M. Donahue D.O. USN, John M. Jr., Anne Marie, Thomas F. Jr., Joseph G., Brianna M., Krista L. and Matthew J. Donahue; her sister: Mary Mitchell; 11 greatgrandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to attend her viewing from 9:00 am to her Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Rd., Richboro, PA 18954.

Interment will follow at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.

Frank J. Myers Frank J. Myers

Frank J. Myers of Chalfont died Friday, October 19, 2012 at Doylestown Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was 96.

Frank was the beloved husband of 72 years to the late Rose C. Myers who died in April of this year.

Born in West Manayunk, PA, Frank was the son of the late George and Florence Scavella Myers.

Frank was a former resident of North Wales and Belmont Hills before recently moving to Chalfont. He was a true Philadelphia sports fan, committing himself to all the teams especially the Phillies and Eagles. He enjoyed spending time gardening and working around his home and enjoyed his four legged friends Stella, Hailey and Louie.

More than anything though, Frank was a devoted father and adoring husband, who selflessly cared for his wife during these past few years when she needed him most. His love and kindness will be deeply missed by his family, especially his great-grandson Lucas, with whom he was so fond.

Frank is survived by his daughter Ann “Anna Mae” Mohr and her husband, Allan of Doylestown, his three sisters; Betty Jean Gerkins, Beatrice Flack, and Florence Turko, and his brother Edward Myers. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Jennifer Mohr and Allan F. Mohr, Jr and his wife Robyn and their son Lucas Allan Mohr. He was predeceased by his three brothers; George, Nick and Jimmy Myers.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing, Monday, October 22, 2012 from 9:30am until his Funeral Mass 10:30am, at St. Jude Church, 321 West Butler Ave., Chalfont, PA 18914. His interment will follow at Westminster Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd.

Dominick A. Cipollini

Dominick A. Cipollini of Bucks County died peacefully on Friday October 19, at his home. He was 84.

Dominick was the beloved husband of Elizabeth A. (nee Macho) for the past 37 years. He was the devoted son of the late Baldassaro and Mary Colella Cipollini and brother of the late Joseph and Angelo Cipollini.

Dominick was born and raised in Downingtown and has been a resident of Bucks County for the past 37 years. He was a proud veteran of the Marine Corps having served in China. He was the owner of C & C Transportation from 1962 to 2006. He was a faithful member of the Knights of Columbus, Holmesburg Council and the 4th Degree Assembly. Dominick was always focused on his wife and family for they came first and foremost. They loved to travel and two of their favorite destinations were Italy and Alaska. They also enjoyed many date nights at various restaurants throughout the area. Dominick enjoyed cheering on the Nittany Lions and all Philadelphia sports teams. He will be remembered for his infectious smile, quick wit and gentle way.

In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his 7 children; Dominick A. Jr. and his wife Marlene, Denise Davenport, Marsha Cipollini, Susan Young and her husband Bryan, Raymond Bryan, Kim Romano and her husband Steve and Michele Eldridge and her husband Tom. Also surviving are 2 sisters, Gloria Belnomi and Jane C. Kalbitzer and his 10 wonderful grandchildren.

Norma A. Schattler (Pinciotti )

Norma A. Schattler, of Newtown, passed away on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Holy Redeemer Hospice. She was 86.

Norma is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years: Charles F. “Chuck” Schattler of Newtown, PA; her devoted children: Deborah A. Rood, wife of Gerald of Burt, MI, Elizabeth K. “Betty” McCorriston, wife of Michael of Newtown, PA, Charles M. Schattler, husband of Wendy of Orefield, PA, and Maureen M. Cavanaugh, wife of Michal of Newtown, PA; her loving sister: Italia “Dolly” Pico of Yardley, PA; her dear grandchildren: Brian, Stephanie, Sara, Michael, Meghan, Kyle and Casey; and her cherished great grandchildren: Derek, Parker, and Connor. She was preceded in death her parents, Pasquale and Anna DeStefano Pinciotti and by 10 siblings.

Norma graduated from Little Flower Catholic High School in Philadelphia. She then took business courses at Strayer University, which assisted in her lifelong career first in bookkeeping then as a receptionist in real estate. Norma loved her job, and worked for various firms. Her social nature and love of people were integral in helping families choose their new home, and she was often involved in choosing design options and assisted in interior decorating.

In later years, Norma enjoyed traveling with her husband Chuck to his U.S. Navy reunions. Most of all, she dearly loved her family, and she will be greatly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 from 10:30 am until her Funeral Mass at 11:30 am at Church of Saint Andrew, 81 Swamp Rd., Newtown, PA 18940.

Interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.

Harry L. Conyers

Harry L. Conyers of Richboro died peacefully on Sunday, October 14, 2012, at Chandler Hall Hospice, Newtown. He was 69.

He was the beloved husband of M. Martha Softly Conyers for 48 years.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Harry L. Jr. and Earliene Sommers Conyers-Day.

Mr. Conyers was a resident of Richboro for the past 34 years. Harry attended Penn State and Spring Garden College. He was employed as an architectural project manager most of his career. In his leisure time, he enjoyed taking walks in Churchville Nature Center and Tyler State Park. His favorite vacations were spent hiking in the fall in New Hampshire and Maine.

In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his two children, Amy Conyers and her fiance’, David Goodyear, of Dublin, PA, Jeffrey Conyers and his fiancee’, Erica DeLuca, of Philadelphia, his brother, Robert Conyers and his wife, Yvette, of Virginia Beach, VA, and his two aunts, Esther Cavanaugh and her husband, John, and Mildred Sparlow. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Hannah Conyers and his devoted friend, Philip McCorriston.

Regina Hoffman (Markiewicz)

Regina Markiewicz Hoffman of Southampton, PA died peacefully on Sunday, October 14, 2012, at her home with her family by her side. She was 74.

She was the beloved wife of 47 years to the late Richard W. Hoffman Sr., who died in 2006.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Helen Kelly Markiewicz and sister of the late Joseph Markiewicz and Helen “Sissy” Dietz.

Mrs. Hoffman grew up in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia and was a resident of Southampton for the past 43 years. Regina graduated from Saint Hubert’s Catholic High School for Girls in 1957 and recently attended her 50th year reunion. A woman whose life was dedicated to the nurturing and guidance of her large family, Regina found the time to be a professional seamstress, a realtor, a Girl Scout leader, a Marriage Encounter counselor, an active member of the Phoenix Swim Club, an educational volunteer at Our Lady of Good Counsel and a proud member of “The Women of 57”. She loved spending time with her family and friends relaxing on the beach or on their boat.

She is survived by her children Richard W. Hoffman Jr. and his wife, Suzanne, of Feasterville, Denise M. Dillon and her husband, John, of Langhorne, Michele Shannon and her husband, William, of Warminster, and David Hoffman and his wife, Maureen, of Southampton, She is also survived by her sister, Mary Lawley and her husband, Francis of Philadelphia and her seven grandchildren: Richard III (Amanda), Rachael, Regina, Jacquelyn, Billy, Jessica, and Joey as well as two great grandchildren, Elsa and Richard IV.

Catherine Marie McKeown of Newtown, PA died peacefully on Saturday, October 13, 2012, at her home. She was 81.

She was the beloved wife of Thomas P. McKeown for 62 years.

Born in Philadelphia, PA on June 29, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Meerbach Talarico and sister of the late Thomas, Joseph and Anthony Talarico.

Mrs. McKeown was a resident of Newtown for the past 12 years and formerly lived in Northeast Philadelphia. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be forever loved and forever missed.

In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by her seven children, Thomas McKeown and his wife, Diana, of Bensalem, Mary Carmean and Robert Vandergrift of Croydon, Anne McKeown and Leon Llewellyn of Croydon, Joseph McKeown and Debbie Schrimer of Telford, Edward McKeown and his wife, Mary Anne, of Berlin, NJ, Margaret Vile and her husband, Richard, of Newtown, and Grace Shemenski and her husband, Scott, of Jacksonville, FL. She is also survived by her brother, Ralph Talarico of Atco, NJ, her two sisters, Anne Browning and Theresa Reeves-Lee, both of Philadelphia, 18 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
