Lawrence Paul Crawford

April 26th, 2014

Lawrence Paul Crawford, of Langhorne, PA passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 26, 2014, at St. Mary Medical Center with his family by his side. He was 70.

He was the beloved husband of 51 years to Margaret “Peggy” Susan Roarty Crawford.

Born in Philadelphia, he was one of nine children born to the late John J. and Marie Haubrich Crawford and father of the late Patti Ann Crawford.

Mr. Crawford was a resident of Langhorne for the past 37 years. He graduated from West Catholic High School for Boys, Class of 1962. He was a retiree of Stroehmann Bros. located in Norristown for 30 years. Mr. Crawford was an avid fan of all the Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Flyers. He enjoyed all types of nature and loved all animals. He will be sadly missed as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother.

In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his 3 daughters, Dawn Marie Carrango and her husband, Garry, of Levittown, Susan Marie Vassallo and her husband, Joe, of Churchville, and Laura Ann Crawford and Jeff, of Naples, FL. He is also survived by his brother, John Crawford, his two sisters, Betsy Hummel and Jean King, four grandchildren, Jessica, Nicholas, Joey, Jackson and his great grandson, Tommy. He was expecting the arrival of a great granddaughter in July.

His family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, from 10:00 AM until his Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at the Olde Church of Saint Andrew, 135 S. Sycamore Street, Newtown, PA 18940. His interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Chandler Hall Hospice, 99 Barclay Street, Newtown, PA 18940.

James Michael Heilig

April 26th, 2014

James Michael Heilig, of Newtown, died April 26, 2014. He was 60.

Born in Scranton, Michael was the devoted son of James C. Heilig and the late Marianne G. Lally Heilig.

Michael, as he was known to his family and friends, was a graduate of Bishop Egan High School, class of 1971 and attended Bloomsburg University where he studied Information Technology. Michael enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting and fishing. He was an avid reader of history, and given the opportunity would have been a great “Jeopardy” competitor. Michael had been using his technology skills working for Resource Data Management in Document Control and Recovery.

Michael will be sadly missed for his quick wit and smile.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his 3 sisters and their husbands; Kathleen A. McInerney and her husband Tom, Ann M. Gallagher and her husband Gerry and Eileen Tiberio and her husband Louis. Also surviving are 5 nephews, 2 nieces, 1 great niece and 3 great nephews.

His Funeral Mass and Interment where held privately.

George Bullock

April 25th, 2014

Dr. George A. “Rusty” Bullock, DMD of Jamison, died peacefully on Friday April 25, 2014 at Abington Hospice at Warminster, with his beloved family at his side. He was 62.

Born in Trenton, New Jersey, he was the devoted husband for 36 years to Mary Elizabeth “Betsy” Miller Bullock.

He was the loving son of George C. Bullock of Doylestown and the late Ruth Richardson Bullock.

Rusty graduated from Juniata College in 1974 and received a BS in Biology. He continued his education at the University of Pittsburgh where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1978. He then served in the military as a Navy Dentist at Quantico Marine Base in Quantico, VA from 1978-80. He received his Certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Connecticut in 1982.

Rusty’s true passion was the practice of Orthodontics and his commitment to organized dentistry. He served the Doylestown community as an Orthodontist for 28 years creating many beautiful smiles. He achieved numerous accolades in the field of dentistry. He was Past President of the PA Association of Orthodontics, the past President of the Greater Society of Orthodontics, the past President of Montgomery Bucks Dental Society and a Delegate to the PA Dental Association. He was a member of the College of the American Board of Orthodontics, a member of the International College of Dentists and a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, an Honorary Dental Society.Rusty was also an active member of the Warrington Rotary Club where he acted as President of the Rotary Club Foundation.

Rusty enjoyed a variety of different hobbies. He enjoyed playing and watching sports, including surfing, tennis, skiing, and golf. He was also a big supporter of the Philadelphia Phillies and the Philadelphia Union. His interests also included traveling and photography, especially sports photography.

In addition to his beloved wife and father he is survived by his 2 sons: David J. Bullock and Joelle and Peter J. Bullock. He was the brother of Patricia A. Reed and her husband William, Dr. Bruce D. Bullock and his wife Elizabeth and Brian A. Bullock and his wife Renata. He is also survived by his dear grandson James P. Bullock and several nieces and nephews.

Dr. Bullock’s family will receive condolences on May 1, 2014 from 9:30am until his Memorial Service 12:00 noon at Neshaminy Warwick Presbyterian Church 1401 Meetinghouse Road, Warminster, PA. His interment will be private.

George James Robertson

April 25th, 2014

George James Robertson of Ivyland, Pa and formerly of Philadelphia, Pa died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, April 25th at Doylestown Hospital. He was 79.

George was the beloved husband of 55 years to Katherine M. “Kitty” Wall Robertson.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Douglas M. and Clara Marcy Robertson.

George was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army and was an employee of VIZ Manufacturing where he worked 41 years.

In addition to his beloved wife Kitty, George is survived by his loving children and their spouses; Annmarie Eberling and Kurt of Southampton, PA, David and Donna of Philadelphia, PA, Karen Orlando and Rich of Ivyland, PA, Lisa Floyd and George of Burlington, NJ, and Michael and Michelle of Ivyland, PA. He is the Best Pop-Pop in the World to Chris (Megan), Lauri, Matt, Michelle, Kelly, Mickey, Kerrie, Sean, Morgan, Makenzie, Shane, and Olivia, brother of Sarah Wall (Ed), brother-in-law of Clara Robertson, wife of the late Douglas M. Robertson, and uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Tuesday, April 29th from 9:30am until his Funeral Mass 11:00am at St. Cyril of Jerusalem Church, 1410 Almshouse Rd., Jamison, PA 18929.

His interment will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA.

Nancy A. Kaiser

April 23rd, 2014

Nancy A. Kaiser of North Wales, PA passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at Abington Memorial Hospital. She was 72.

She was the beloved wife of the late William S. Kaiser.

Born in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Martin K. and Hilda M. Roth Woodling and sister of the late Barbara Horlacher.

Mrs. Kaiser was a resident of North Wales for the past 20 years and formerly lived in Allentown. She attended Allentown High School and until retiring in 2009 was employed by Doylestown Hospital and Roxborough Hospital in Philadelphia in various administrative positions. In her leisure time, she enjoyed gardening and always looked forward to a game of chance at the casino.

She is survived by her brother, Roger C. Woodling and his wife, Linda, of Hatboro, her two nephews, Glenn Horlacher and Brian Woodling, and three nieces, Karen Strohl, Gail Eisenhower and Kimberly Longacre. She is also survived by her three step-daughters, Kathy G. Taylor, Karen M. Baker and Kim Kaiser Craven.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Saturday, April 26, 2014, from 9:00 AM until her Funeral Service 10:00 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 E. Butler Avenue (at Sandy Ridge Road), New Britain, PA 18901.

Joan C. DiAmico (Gribbin)

April 23rd, 2014

Joan C. DiAmico of Holland passed away at her home on Wednesday April 23, 2014 with her husband by her side. She was 67.

She was the beloved wife of Peter J. DiAmico. The two were married 47 years.

Joan was the daughter of the late George and Clara Dursi Gribbin and the sister of the late George Gribbin, Jr. and Charles Gribbin.

Joan was a graduate of the Ancilla Domini Academy in Philadelphia where she flourished socially with her naturally outgoing personality. She loved to cook and bake and for this reason especially treasured the holiday season each year. Above all else she adored her family who will miss her dearly.

In addition to her loving husband, Joan is survived by her brothers-in-law, Laurence DiAmico and his wife, Kathleen and Joseph DiAmico; her nieces, Dina DiAmico, Kathleen George and her husband, Michael, and Lisa Murello and her husband,Jose; and her nephew, David DiAmico and his wife, Heather.

Services will be private.

Robert Perdoncin

Robert Mario Perdoncin, MD, of Doylestown, PA died on Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at St. Mary Medical Center.

He was the husband of Mary Beth Harler, MD.

Born in Bronx, New York, he was the son of the late Luigi and Mary Zenere Perdoncin.

Robert recently retired from West Chester Cardiology in West Chester, PA. He was an avid student of philosophy, theology, and physics. He enjoyed cooking, intellectual conversations and debates, a broad range of music from rock n’ roll to classical, theatrical performances, art, chess, red wine, trading stocks, and relaxing on the beach with his wife and kids. He will be deeply missed.

In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by his daughters Emily Madeline Perdoncin, MD, Mary Madeline Perdoncin, and Sophia Elena Perdoncin and his son Nicolo Page Perdoncin. He is also survived by his brother Richard and sister-in-law Margaret Perdoncin, nieces Maria (Perdoncin) Barton, Michelle Perdoncin, Grace Howell, and nephew Andrew Howell.

A private ceremony and interment were held at Doylestown Cemetery.

Agnes Spencer McGowan (Spencer)

April 23rd, 2014

Agnes Spencer McGowan died peacefully Wednesday April 23, at Abington Hospice, Warminster. She was 86.

Born in Philadelphia she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Mary Duffy Spencer and the beloved wife of 62 years to the late Michael J. McGowan, Sr. and mother of the late Michael J. McGowan, Jr., who both died within the past year.

Agnes was a resident of Luther Park, Hatboro where she made friends easily and enjoyed her time there.

She looked forward to cooking for family and friends, working in her garden, playing bingo and going antiquing.

Agnes is survived by her 2 sons; Mark McGowan and Spencer McGowan and his wife Kelly. She is also survived by 4 dear grandchildren and 1sister.

Agnes’s family will receive condolences prior to her Celebration of Life in her honor on Friday May, 2, 2014 from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954.

Agnes’s inurnment will be private at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.

Anthony G. McDonnell of Meadowbrook, PA and formerly of Metuchen, NJ died peacefully on Monday, April 21, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Manor in Meadowbrook, PA. He was 80.

Anthony was the beloved husband to the late Nancy Hulton McDonnell.

Born in Troy, NY, he was the son of the late Anthony and Elizabeth Walker McDonnell, the brother of the late William and Joseph McDonnell, and the father of the late Karen Reavill.

Anthony was the loving father of Edward and his wife Laura of Graysonville, MD, Dennis and his wife Theresa of Bedford, NH, James of Haddon Twp., NJ, Thomas and his wife Diana of Warminster, PA Mary McDonnell of Philadelphia, Anne Marie Robertson and her husband Chris of Newtown, PA, Christine Beissel and her husband Pat of Willow Grove, PA. He is also survived by his brother Stephen McDonnell, sister Rose Boyer; the mother of his children, Anna J. McDonnell; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and his son-in-law David Reavill.

Jeffrey N. Giordano

April 21st, 2014

Jeffrey N. Giordano, of Southampton, passed away on April 21, 2014 at Fox Chase Cancer Center. He was 63.

Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Bruno and Olga Blose Giordano, husband of the late Evelyn Haight Giordano, and brother to the late Barry Giordano.

He is survived by his loving fiancée Diane “Smoochy” Glassner of Southampton.

Jeff was a graduate of Class 227 of Central High School in Philadelphia. After high school, Jeff was accepted into Penn State University and graduated in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. After college, Jeff began his career in contracting, and established his own company, Giordano Interiors LLC, over 35 years ago.

In his free time, Jeff was an avid golfer, and also enjoyed tennis and biking. He always made it a point to spend his days off outside, enjoying the warm weather with Diane, friends and family. Jeff was an outspoken, charismatic man whose greatest joy was his family. He will be dearly missed.

In addition to his fiancée Diane, Jeff is survived by his sons: Jeffrey N. Giordano Jr. and Michael B. Giordano, both of Philadelphia; and his brothers: Mark Giordano and David Giordano and his wife MaryAnn.
