October 19th, 2014
Dorothy L. Cherubini of Newtown died Sunday, October 19, 2014, peacefully at Pickering Manor Home Health Care. She was 89.
Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late John B. Cherubini.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the beloved daughter of the late John J. and Anna Mae Buckley Lynch. She was also preceded in death by her brother, John J. Lynch, Jr.
Dorothy was a former resident of Langhorne since 1961, until moving to Newtown in 2005. She was a telephone operator for Bell Telephone Company for over 40 years. Dorothy was a member of the Pioneers of Bell Telephone. In her free time, she enjoyed baking, crossword puzzles, and always had a great sense of humor. Dorothy would always greet everyone with the expression “Hello Love”. She will be deeply missed by all who had the opportunity to know her.
Dorothy is survived by her sister, Nancy Huslin and her husband Ted of Richboro and her brother Joseph Lynch and his wife Francine of Swampscott, MA. She is also survived by her niece Karen E. Dopson of Bristol and many other special nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 10:00 AM until her Funeral Mass at 11:30 AM in the Church of Saint Andrew, 81 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA 18940.
Dorothy’s interment will follow in Bristol Cemetery in Bristol.

Dr. Robert E. Adams “Doc” of Holgate, NJ and formerly of Morrisville and Duck Key, FL, passed away October 19, 2014 at Southern Ocean Medical Center with his loving family by his side. He was 82.
Bob was the beloved husband of 49 years to Rosemary B. Seledic Adams.
Born in Trenton, NJ, he was the son of the late Robert E. and Alice Kenney Adams.
Bob attended St. Francis College in Loretto, PA and went on to earn his degree as a medical doctor from the University of St. Louis. His first position as a physician was with the United States Air Force where he met his future wife and would marry upon completion of his military service. The two made their home in Morrisville and raised their sons while Bob worked at the Hunterdon Medical Center and later ran his own private practice in Flemington, NJ.
Bob enjoyed spending much of his time at his homes on Long Beach Island, NJ and also on Duck Key, FL. where he and his wife retired in 1992. He was an avid boater and through his life grew fond of increasingly larger and faster boats.
A self proclaimed “mixologist”, one of Bob’s most memorable traits was his gregarious nature and natural ability to make everyone around him feel immediately at ease. He opened his home with others and extended the feeling of “family” with those that did not have their own. With Bob everyone was part of the family and he will be greatly missed.
In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by his sons, Robert E. Adams, Jr. of Ewing, NJ and Patrick J. Adams and his wife, Lucia, of Newtown. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Robert E. Adams III, Matthew L. Adams and Katarina and Sofia Adams.

Thomas J. Auerswald of Bensalem died suddenly on Sunday October 19, 2014 at Aria Hospital Torresdale. He was 75.
Born in Philadelphia he was the beloved husband of the late Rose Marie B. Doyle Auerswald who died in 2007. He was the son of the late Frank W. and Adele M. Bachmann Auerswald.
Tom was a graduate of Northeast Public High School and received his associate’s degree from Bucks County Community College. He was a proud Navy veteran. His professional career spanned over 40 years with the Philadelphia Gas Works, he retired in 1995. He was an active parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima Parish, Bensalem; he was a founding member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society at Our Lady of Fatima. Tom was a member and past Grand Knight of the St. Charles Borromeo, Council # 4279, Knights of Columbus and selected to serve as an honor guard and color corps. He was a judge of elections in Bensalem for over fifteen years in the upper 5. He served the American Red Cross as a certified disaster relief trainer and onsite supervisor participating on location at numerous disasters, including hurricanes, floods, earthquakes and other natural disasters. He was dedicated to the prison ministry; he loved gardening at the Bensalem Senior Center and looked forward to spending time with his grandchildren.
Tom is survived by his devoted children and their spouse; Rose Marie T. Shire (Tim), Bernadette J. Nemeth (Mark) and Alicia A. Auerswald (Tim) and Christina E. Auerswald, 2 brothers Frank W. Auerswald, Sr. and John Auerswald. He is also survived by 5 dear grandchildren; Amanda, Patrick, Elizabeth, Samantha and Jessica.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewings on Friday evening October 24, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Susan Llull-Sasse, 68, of Milford, PA died suddenly at home on Friday, October 17, 2014.
She was born in Newark, NJ, to Elizabeth and Frank Wehrle of Springfield, NJ, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband C. Edward Sasse whom she first met in middle school and reunited with later in life. She is also survived by her three daughters: Pamela Llull Knowles, Barbara Llull and Robyn Llull, an older sister, Betty Ann Lietz as well as five grandchildren; Caitlin, Matthew, Odin, Liam, and Griffin. She was also predeceased in death by her sister Barbara McKevitt.
Susan was a longtime resident of Springfield, NJ where she graduated from Jonathan Dayton Regional in 1964. She has lived in Livingston, NJ; Atlanta, GA; Chesterfield, VA; Long Valley, NJ; Andover, NJ; and most recently Milford, PA.
Susan's absolute favorite place to visit was Hawaii, which she often visited in her later years. She was an avid shopper and a collector of many things. Susan prided herself in decorating for every holiday and enjoying it with family.

Dorothy L. Feller of Langhorne died Monday, October 13, 2014 at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne surrounded by her loving family. She was 90.
Born in Hazelton, PA, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Preston and Isabella Krell. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Arlene (Betty) Probert and her brother, William P. Krell.
Dorothy is survived by her husband Harry A. Feller, her soul mate and the love of her life.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter Patricia Roth and her husband Don of Washington Crossing, her sisters and their husbands, Lois and Jack Schugardt of Levittown and Barbara and John Billig of Valrico, FL, her cherished grandchildren and their spouses; Stephanie and Rick Gillie and Scott and Carolyn Roth, her 5 great grandchildren, her nieces, nephews and extended family.
Dorothy was a loving and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Services and interment will be privately held by her family.

Alice Patricia Finn, (nee Fennen), age 80, of Chalfont and formerly of Philadelphia, died on October 12, 2014.
Mrs. Finn was the wife of the late Vincent J. Finn, Jr. and the mother of Alice Joann Finn, Mary Patricia Finn, Kathryn McCluskey (Leo McCluskey), Francine Quinn, Maurine Hajek (David), Vincent Finn (Susan), Richard Finn (Susan), and the late Raymond Finn. She was the sister of Francis and Thomas Fennen and Mary Eileen Sommer. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and preceded in death by her siblings, Catherine Furlong, William Fennen, and Rosemarie Cavanaugh; and one great-grandchild.

Mary “Vera” Brown passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was 87.
Vera was the beloved wife of 38 years to the late Carl Brown Jr.
Born in Pleasantville, NJ, she was the daughter the late Richard and Marie Dougherty McGlynn and sister of the late Richard McGlynn and Francis McGlynn.
Vera was a lifelong resident of the Atlantic City and Ventnor area and a resident of Churchville, PA for the last 10 years. She was employed by the Charles Movie Theater in Atlantic City for many years and later worked as a secretary for Etris Associate’s in Northeast Philadelphia. In her leisure, Vera attended the Far Northeast Senior Center where she played bingo and made many ceramic pieces for her family in their ceramic classes. She participated daily in the LIFE St. Mary Program in Trevose where she fostered many quality relationships over the past few years. Above all else, Vera adored her family and treasured time spent with them. She will be dearly missed.
Vera is survived by her children, Marie Brown Etris and her husband, Stephen, of Churchville, Carl J. Brown III of Atlantic City, NJ, and Nancy Garback and her husband, Thomas of Churchville. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Jill, Jess, and Tommy.

Howard J. Leomporra of Perkasie and formerly of Churchville, died peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on Saturday October 11, 2014 in his home. He was 52.
Born on December 13, 1961 in Philadelphia, Howard was the beloved son of the late Peter R., Sr. and Eva C. Herr Leomporra.
Howard started his education at the age of 3 and continued through school until he graduated from the Jacobs School in Philadelphia when he was 21. He was an active member and participant in the SPIN program in Philadelphia, he was also the recipient of multiple employee of the month awards from BARC of Ivyland and Quakertown. For the past 15 years, Howard lived at a residence operated and supervised by Life Path Foundation in Perkasie. In his leisure, he enjoyed listening to music and watching movies of his favorite artist, Elvis. He will be greatly missed by everyone who has come to know and love him.
Howard is survived by his loving and ever devoted sibllings and their spouses; Gemma M. Altomari and Michael of Warminster, Peter R. Leomporra, Jr. and Susan of Bristol, and Michael J. Leomporra and Susan of Churchville. In addition he is surved by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Earl A. Blagus Jr., of Ann’s Choice in Warminster, PA died on Saturday, October 11, 2014, at Doylestown Hospital. He was 85.
He was the beloved husband of the late Lorraine Morris Blagus.
Born in Youngstown, Ohio, he was the son of the late Earl A. Sr. and Bessie L. Gray Blagus and brother of the late Thomas and Donald Blagus.
Earl was a resident of Warminster, PA for the past 4 years and formerly lived in Hatboro for 30 years. Earl graduated from LaSalle College, Class of 1965, with his bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering. Before his retirement in 1989, he was employed as a systems engineer with General Electric for 40 years working in their aerospace division. He was proud to have been associated with the Gemini, Apollo and the Space Shuttle systems. In his leisure time, he enjoyed camping and travelling. He will be sadly missed as a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother.
He is survived by his daughter, Deborah B. Hauck and her husband, John, of Perkasie, his son, Dennis S. Blagus of Perkasie, and his sister, Dorothy A. Coccagna of Philadelphia. He is also survived by his three grandsons; Matthew J. (Samantha) Blagus, Sean F. (Lina) Hauck and "A.J." Hauck (fiancé; Courtney DeLong) and his 2 great grandchildren; Lily and Josh.

Joseph G. Tomevi of Ann’s Choice, Warminster, PA., died peacefully with his family at his side on Friday October 10, 2014 at Abington Hospital, Abington. He was 83.
Born in Patterson, New Jersey, he was the beloved husband of Jane Gangwer Tomevi, and husband of the late Ella Mae Fairclough and the son of the late George and Catherine Laverty Tomevi.
Joe as he was known to his family and friends has been a resident of Ann’s Choice for the past 15 months with his wife Jane. He was a former resident of the Reading area for over 20 years. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving in the 1950’s and a former Mason. Joe retired from BASF Corporation after many years as a supervisor in the chemical manufacturing division at the facility in Patterson, New Jersey.
Joe enjoyed working on his computer, reading, and doing all kinds of photography. He started an engraving business doing plaques and other such items as a hobby.
In addition to his wife Jane, he is survived by his wonderful children; Cari Weber (David), Jill Eldredge, Robert Eldredge (Cheryl), Jennifer Wyant, Jana Boltz (Phil), Mark Eldredge (Kelly), Joshua Eldredge (Tawnya). 16 dear grandchildren: Sara, Danielle, TJ, Phoebe, Robert, Dillon, Dalton, Elliot, Marissa, Blake, Jacob, Aiden, Gavin, Emily, Joshua and Gracie and 1 great grandson Landyn. Joe is also survived by one sister Mae Farnese.
