Janet F. Denofa (Pizzichil)

March 22nd, 2015

Janet F. Denofa of Bensalem, died peacefully on Sunday, March 22, 2015, surrounded by her devoted and loving family at her residence. She was 73.

Born in Philadelphia Janet was a resident of Bensalem for the past 6 and half years having formerly lived in the far Northeast.

Janet was the beloved wife of Carmen A. Denofa, Jr. for the past 51 years and daughter of the late William and Jeanette Dagastino Pizzichil and sister of the late Daniel Pizzichil.

Janet was a graduate of Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls, class of 1960. Janet and her beloved husband and family were communicants of Our Lady of Calvary Parish for many years before moving into St. Charles Borromeo Parish 6 and half years ago.

She was a true homemaker; she was passionate about her family, for they came first and foremost. Janet looked forward to fussing over her grandchildren and great grandchildren as they truly brought a twinkle to her eyes.

She will be sadly missed by all those who had the chance to be her friend.

In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by her 2 loving children; Michael Denofa and Michelle M. Tate and her husband Michael, She is also survived by 5 dear grandchildren; Michael, Jessica Janet, Carmen(Joey), Daniel and Vincent and 2 great grandchildren Dominic and Emma.

Janet’s family will receive condolences on Wednesday March 25, from 9:30 am until her Funeral Mass 10:30am in St. Charles Borromeo Church 1731 Hulmeville Rd. Bensalem. Interment will be private.

Henry C. Beal

March 22nd, 2015

Henry C. Beal of Hatboro died Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Luther Woods Rehabilitation Center in Horsham. He was 89.

Henry was the beloved husband of 63 years to Betty M. Kretmar Beal.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Henry and Margaret Jeffers Beal.

Henry was a long time resident of Feasterville before moving to Gloria Dei Farms in Hatboro. Prior to his retirement, he was a Systems Technician for Leeds and Northrup Corp. in North Wales, PA. Henry was a veteran of the US Army serving after World War II and was an active member of St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Feasterville. In his leisure, he enjoyed bowling and vacationing at Laurel Lake, NJ where he and Betty had met as children. He was a loyal Philadelphia Phillies fan and would attend his children and grandchildren’s sporting events. Henry will be truly missed by his family and by all who came to know him.

In addition to his wife Betty, Henry is survived by his children, Richard Beal and his wife Joann Scurlock of Chicago and Wayne Beal and his wife Alison of Ivyland. He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren, Brian and his wife Courtney, Kevin and Jasmine Moseley and Christopher.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Saturday, March 28th from 10am until his Funeral Service 11am in St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Feasterville, 65 E. Street Road, Feasterville 19053. Henry’s interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Feasterville.

Warren Francis Williams

March 22nd, 2015

Warren Francis Williams of Warrington, PA passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at his home. He was 93.

He was the beloved husband of Sarah Elizabeth Cope Williams for 68 years and is survived by her, their son Warren, his wife Joan and their children, Alicia and Jamie.

Born in 1921, he was the son of the late Glen H. and Anna F. Williams.

Warren was a school teacher in the Abington School District and retired in his mid 50’s. He then began to run his own business where he gave educational scientific tours to teachers, often affiliated with NASA and he saw several launches including Apollo 8 and Apollo 11.

Following his second retirement in the mid 1990’s he became involved in the Moland House in Hartsville, where he was a President of the Warwick Township Historical Society. He dedicated much of his time and energy to the restoration and preservation of the house, and was involved in significant fundraising campaigns as well as working closely with the architects who were restoring the house. He also wrote a children’s book, A Basket of Pears for General Washington, that described the activities at the house during the Revolution. Warren had a lifelong passion for antique automobiles, and his pride and joy was his 1941 Lincoln Continental, which he proudly referred to as his “41”.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Monday, March 30, 2015 from 10:00 AM until his funeral service at 11:00 AM in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954. Warren’s interment will follow in Neshaminy Warwick Cemetery in Warminster, PA.

Erin Melissa Christian

March 21st, 2015

Erin Melissa Christian of Newtown, PA died unexpectedly on Saturday, March 21, 2015, at her residence. She was 24.

Born in Langhorne, she was the beloved daughter of Robert C. and Susan C. Willever Christian and maternal granddaughter of the late S. Paul and Rita L. DePuy Willever and paternal granddaughter of the late Joyce A. Minka Christian.

In addition to her beloved parents, she is also survived by her brother, Douglas R. Christian of Santa Monica, CA and her paternal grandfather, Charles C. Christian or Wilmington, NC, as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Erin was a resident of Newtown for the past 5 years and formerly lived in New Hope. She graduated from Notre Dame High School in Lawrenceville, NJ, Class of 2009 and received her bachelor degree in Political Science and Psychology from West Chester University, Class of 2013.

Erin was employed as an underwriter for Philadelphia Insurance Company for the past year. She was an avid athlete who enjoyed playing basketball and soccer. She liked working out at the gym, running and keeping in shape. She was also very artistic and talented and used her creativity to do for others. She blessed her family for 24 years with such care and compassion, she will be sadly missed as a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend to all those who knew her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Friday evening, March 27, 2015 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road (at Holland Road), Richboro, PA 18954. Erin’s funeral service and interment will be held privately.

Catherine Gauker

March 19th, 2015

Catherine Gauker of Richboro and formerly of Philadelphia died peacefully on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. She was 92.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Mary Zeiner Gauker.

Catherine worked for many years at Sears, Roebuck and Company as an accountant. She enjoyed her work and traveling abroad with friends, but she cherished the moments she shared with her family. Catherine will be greatly missed and forever loved by everyone who has had the pleasure to know her.

Catherine is survived by her loving brother John S. Gauker and his wife Gertrude, her nieces Barbara A. Hipple and Mary C. Gauker, and her nephew John M. Gauker. She is also survived by 2 grand nieces and 2 grand nephews.

William R. Randall Jr.

William R. Randall Jr. of Doylestown was called home peacefully by his Lord and Savior on March 19, 2015. Born March 12, 1931 and born again August 13, 1995. He was 84.

William was the beloved husband of 61 years to Dolores Randall.

He was a proud veteran of the United Sates Marine Corps. William was an insurance agent with Prudential Insurance for over 35 years.

William is survived by his wife Dolores, children, Debra Grudza and her husband Nicholas of Marlton, NJ and Darren Randall and his wife Charlene of Pipersville. Deeply loved by 3 grandchildren Brittany, Taylor and Gabrielle.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewings, Tuesday, March 24, 2015 from 6:00-8:00pm and on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 11:30am until his Funeral Service 12:00pm in the Joseph A. John S. Gauker

John S. Gauker of Langhorne died peacefully on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at his home; he was 85.

John was the beloved husband of 50 years to Gertrude Stieber Gauker.

Born in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late Martin and Mary Zeiner Gauker and brother of the late Catherine Gauker.

John was a proud veteran of the Air Force who served during the Korean Conflict.

In addition to his wife Gertrude, John is survived by his loving and devoted children and grandchildren Mary C. Gauker, Barbara A. Hipple and her husband Ronald and their son Luke, and John M. Gauker and his wife Kelli and their children Emily, Meredith and Calvin.

Anna T. Lemke (McGinley)

Anna T. Lemke of Wallingford, PA died peacefully on Monday, March 16, 2015, at Plush Mills Senior Living Center in Wallingford, PA. She was 93.

She was the beloved wife of the late Robert H. Lemke Jr. whom she married on April 15, l944.

Born on Christmas Day of 1921 in the Kensington section of Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna Teresa Koegal McGinley and sister of the late John McGinley, William McGinley and Catherine Murphy.

Anna was a former resident of the Olney section of Philadelphia and lived in St. Helena’s parish from 1944 until her family moved to the Cobalt Ridge section of Levittown in 1964 where she was a communicant of Queen of the Universe Church. In 2009, she moved to Plush Mills Senior Living Center in Wallingford.

Anna graduated from John W. Hallahan Catholic High School for Girls, Class of 1939. After working for Bell Telephone Company as a switchboard operator for a short time, she stayed at home to raise her four children. She was married for 46 years until her husband’s death in July 1990.

She enjoyed playing cards, bowling, traveling and was active in the Parkview and Oxford Valley Seniors. She was an avid Phillies fan attending games into her late 80’s. She was a big Allen Iverson fan and watched most 76ers games during his time with the team. She will be sadly missed as a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

The family would especially like to thank the staff at Plush Mills Senior Living and Caring Hospice Services.

She is survived by her son, Robert H. Lemke III and his wife, Louanne, of Trevose, PA, and her three daughters, Anita Devine and her husband, David, of Williamstown, NJ, Teresa Andrews and her husband, Allen, of Media, PA and Christine Tomlinson and her husband, William, of Midlothian, VA. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Friday, March 20, 2015, from 10:00 AM until her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM at the Chapel of St. Bede the Venerable Church, 1071 Holland Road, Holland, PA 18966. Interment will take place at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Prospectville, PA.

Andrew J. Wanushek

Andrew J. Wanushek of Langhorne passed away on March 15, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Kathryn (nee Young) Wanushek, dearest father of Andrew J. Wanushek, Jr., Kathryn M. Arty (Stephen), brother of William Wanushek, dear grandfather of Kristine Ziller(Jason), and the late James J. Mulroney, Jr. and great grandfather of Emma K. and Jason M. Ziller Jr.

Andy served in the U.S. Coast guard and was a retiree of United Parcel Service. He gave his time and talents to Holy Ghost Byzantine Church for 20 years. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and golfing. He will be sadly missed by all who were blessed to have known him.

Robert W. MacDonald

Robert W. MacDonald of Langhorne, PA died peacefully on Sunday, March 15, 2015, surrounded by his family at Chandler Hall Hospice, Newtown, PA. He was 79.

Bob was the beloved husband of Catherine A. MacDonald (nee Stackhouse) for 33 years.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, Bob was the son of the late Robert A. and Edna J. MacDonald (Fink), father of the late Robert A. MacDonald, and brother of the late Kenneth MacDonald.

Bob was a resident of Langhorne since 1995 and formerly lived in Newtown since 1981. He was a graduate of West Catholic High School for Boys, Class of 1953. Before his retirement in 2014, he was employed for 40 years as an electrical inspector with Middle Atlantic Electrical Inspection Inc., located in Feasterville, PA and was a member of I.B.E.W. Local #380. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and vacationing in Cape May, NJ. He loved being on the water and was the proud captain of the “Sundance” and the “Lady K”. He especially enjoyed the times spent with his children, grandchildren and great granddaughter. He will be sadly missed as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

In addition to his beloved wife, Bob is survived by his two children, Jeffrey D. MacDonald and his wife, Dawn, of Hatboro, PA, and Donna M. Klein of Dublin, PA, his five step-children, Lorrie Greiner and her husband, Michael, of Kittanning, PA, Vincent Pinto and his wife, Cyndi, of Wrightstown, PA, Howard Pinto of Holland, PA, Nicholas Pinto and his wife, Heather, of Holland, PA, and Katie Marriott and her husband, Brian, of Holland, PA. He is also survived by his sister, Lorraine Rudolph and her husband, Ted, of Springfield, PA, his brother, Garry MacDonald and his wife, Sue, of Glen Riddle, PA, his sister-in-law, Eleanor MacDonald of Aston, PA, 11 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.

Bob's family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, March 19, 2015, from 10:00 AM until his Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at the Church of Saint Andrew, 81 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA 18940. Interment will take place at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne.
