Robert K. Medl of Churchville, PA passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia with his family by his side. He was 51.
He was the beloved husband of Peg Carrigan Medl for 21 years.
Born in Meadowbrook, PA, he was the son of the late Franz Medl and Charlotte A. Loeffler Medl-Dunham and her husband, Matt, of Dushore, PA.
Rob was a resident of Churchville since 1974. He graduated from Council Rock High School, Class of l982 and went on to receive his Associates Degree from Bucks County Community College. For many years, Rob was a chef at various restaurants and country clubs. For the past five years he was employed as a butcher for Heybach & Sons Meat Processing in Warwick. He was part owner of Medl Tool & Die, a family business located in Warminster, PA. Rob was a member of Tiroler Beneficial Society and the Delaware Valley Chefs Association. In his leisure, he enjoyed skiing, travelling, hunting, fishing and gardening. He will be sadly missed as a devoted husband, son, brother, uncle and friend.
In addition to his beloved wife and his mother and step-father, he is survived by his two brothers, Eric Medl of Klamath Falls, OR and Chris Medl and his wife, Meg, of Hilltown, PA.

Patricia Mary (nee Butler) Griffith, of Warminster, died on August 10, 2015. She was the beloved friend of the late Charles T. Griffith, Jr. Dearest mother of Randi Sobolesky, Charles Griffith III and Terri Kohlenberg. Sister of Kenneth Butler and Donald Butler. Also survived by her 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Ian Mark Jones
April 29, 1983 – August 10, 2015
On Saturday August 10, 2015, the world lost an amazing man. Ian Mark Jones of New York, NY and formerly of Yardley, PA passed away unexpectedly in an unfortunate kayaking accident on the Hudson River. His life was filled with creativity. Ian was a successful model with IMG in New York. Not only was he a beautiful model, but he was a beautiful soul. He was a kid at heart, funny, down to earth, caring man. He was a bright light to all who knew him. He was also a talented, published photographer with a special eye for the homeless. His Street Kids Project allowed many homeless youths to transform their lives and give them hope. Ian was a dedicated participant in the AA Organization and through them affected many other lives with his testimony. We love you with all our hearts. Rest in Peace Sweet, Sweet Ian. We will see you again.
He is survived by his mother, Sherron Jones of Yardley, PA; his Aunt and Uncle, Kim and Dave Michie; his two cousins, David and Cameron Michie of Maple Glen, PA; his Aunt Toni Kent and cousins, Stetson Kent and Madison Ortiz of Orlando, FL; and his Uncle and Aunt, James Jones and Maggie Jones of Orlando, FL.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Memorial Service and Celebration of Ian’s life on Saturday August 15, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Christian Life Center, 3100 Galloway Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020.
There will be an opportunity to greet the family immediately following the service.

Anthony “Tony” J. Rocca of New Hope died Sunday, August 9, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. He was 84.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Felice and Giovannina Ianucci Rocca, the brother of the late Phil and Rosa and father-in-law of the late Leigh Rocca.
Anthony was a former resident of Yardley before moving to New Hope in 2002. He began his distinguished career over 45 years ago in the insurance profession as a public adjuster and eventually started his own business, Anthony J. Rocca Associates located in Lawrenceville, NJ. Anthony was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Korean Conflict and in his leisure spent quality times with his family especially at his home in Holgate, NJ. He enjoyed fishing and cooking and was passionate in traveling and seeing the world. Anthony will be truly missed by his family and by all who have had the pleasure of knowing him.
Anthony is survived by his children, Anthony J. Rocca, Esq. and his wife Linda of Whitemarsh, Gregory Rocca of New Hope and Linda Carl and her husband Floyd of Lower Makefield. He is also survived by his 7 cherished grandchildren, Gregory Rocca, Alexandra Rocca, Anna Rocca, Rachel Carl, Gianna Rocca, Diana Carl and Anthony Rocca and his loving companion Nadine Marty.

Kristine D. Grutza of Feasterville, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday August 9, 2015. She was 23.
Kristine was the adoring mother of Dylan Rosenthal and the loving girlfriend of the late Matthew Rosenthal.
Born in Meadowbrook, she was a daughter of Michael and Karen Driscoll Grutza.
A life-long Bucks County resident, Kristine graduated from Council Rock High School South and Middle Bucks Institute of Technology with the class of 2010. She thoroughly enjoyed going to MBIT where she studied Oracle Computer Programming. She was employed with Wawa for the last five years where she served in various capacities.
Kristine had a great love of the outdoors and enjoyed spending many good times with her family at Knoebels. Fishing with her beloved son, Dylan, was her most recent treasured memories. She was also a lover of animals and cared deeply for their welfare, having volunteered at an Animal Rescue.
Kristine’s spirit simply cannot be captured in only a few words. She will be remembered as an intelligent and vibrant young woman who always made sure to live in the moment. Her kind soul and caring heart will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her son and her parents, Kristine is survived by her sister, Marie Grutza; her paternal grandfather “Dzidzia” Stanley Grutza; her Aunt Pattie and Uncle Roger Hanisco; her Uncles, Leonard and Steven Grutza; her beloved cousin and dear friend, Brian Hanisco and his wife Evanne and their daughter, Kathryn; and her very best friend, Allie Froelich.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Phyllis Grutza and her maternal grandparents, John and Edith Driscoll.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewings on Thursday Evening August 13, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM and Friday August 14, 2015 from 11:00 AM until her Funeral Service 12:00 PM at the Joseph A. Wittig, of Newtown, died on August 9, 2015 of Newtown He was the beloved husband of the late Doris DuBois Wittig, father of the late Brian Wittig (Eileen Wittig), brother of the late John Wittig. Dearest father of Cathy Wittig (Larry Waldman), Thomas Wittig (Geralyn), Karen Wittig (Donna MacLeod), Jeanne Vanrell (Jason). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Charles W. McElroy, Jr. of Chalfont died suddenly at his residence on Saturday, August 8, 2015. He was 77.
Charles was the beloved husband of 53 years to Sandy Lofgren McElroy.
Born in Chico, CA, he was the son of the late Charles and Lucile Dloughy McElroy.
Charles graduated from San Diego State University with a Masters degree in Public Administration and shortly after started a career with the State of California. His career took him and his family to Korea in 1976. In 1986, Charles worked and resided in Egypt, Israel, and Jordan for 18 years. After his retirement in 2004, he used his skills and talents to help people through times of disaster with the American Red Cross. During his leisure, he enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his wife Sandy, Charles is survived by his loving daughters: Michelle Collins, Melissa McGrath and her husband Tom, and Sarah “Sookie” McElroy. He is also survived by his sister Jari Heyen (Fred), his 5 grandchildren: Sophia and Abby Collins and Hannah, Maggie and Grace McGrath and his mother-in-law Margaret Nash.

Julia A. Frazier of Churchville, PA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at her residence. She was 53.
Julie was the beloved wife of Lynn S. Anderson for 8 years.
Born in Upper Darby, PA, she was the daughter of Sarah N. Haigh Frazier and the late Robert P. Frazier.
Julie was a resident of Churchville for the past 7 years. Prior to living in Churchville, she resided in Hatboro for 1 year and in Newport, Delaware for many years. She was employed as a mortgage banker for EMM Mortgage Company in Cherry Hill, NJ and Allied Mortgage in Bala Cynwyd, PA. With all of her knowledge and experience in business, she was known to her family and friends as “the queen of mortgages”. In her leisure time, she enjoyed movies, camping, fishing, reading, speeding and the Philadelphia Folk Festival.
She will be sadly missed as a loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many.
In addition to her beloved wife and mother, she is survived by her three step-children, Tammy Ford, Julie Marie Marder, Kristina Rewis, her brother, Robert Frazier and his wife, Joanne, her niece, Grace Frazier and her nephew, Bob Frazier of Newtown Square, PA, her aunt, Nancy Brewer and her husband, Richard, of Phoenixville, PA.

Sarah Jane Mazzarella (Kinkaid )

Sarah Jane Kinkaid Mazzarella of Lansdale, PA and formerly of Feasterville, PA died peacefully on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Dock Woods Healthcare. She was 85.
Sarah Jane was the beloved wife of the late Domenick J. Mazzarella. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late George F. and Sarah Jane Darragh Kinkaid and the sister of the late George and Henry Kinkaid.
Sarah Jane was a proud alumnus of Little Flower High School Class of 1949. She started working for Philco-Ford Company for a few years before starting a career with Eastern State School and Hospital and later with Proctor and Gamble. Sarah Jane enjoyed trips to the casinos in Atlantic City and also spending time with her family and her many nieces and nephews. Sarah Jane will be greatly missed by everyone who has come to know and love her.
Sarah Jane is survived by her sisters Thelma Schmidt and Aileen Doughty, and numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews.

Barbara Ann Shaw passed quietly in her sleep on August 4, 2015 at Abington Hospice in Warminster surrounded by her family. She was 75.
Barbara was the beloved wife of the late Alexander Shaw.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late James and Sarah Galaghanti McNeill and the mother of the late Glenn James Shaw.
Barbara was an avid collector of antiques as well as a world traveler. With her friends in tow some of her favorite places were Paris in the Spring, on Safari in Africa, Italy with volcanoes and the ruins of villas from another time. In her opinion, the North Wildwood Beaches were the best in the world. When she was at home, she thoroughly enjoyed her flower gardens and cooking.
Barbara is survived by her children, Scott Shaw, Glenn Shaw’s wife Eileen, Doug Shaw, Heather Tomlinson and Bonnie Haeberle. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Alex Shaw, Ian Shaw, Scott Shaw, Amanda Haeberle and Christina, Richard, Nathan, Samantha and Sarah Tomlinson and her great grandchildren Zoey Mayers and Sophia Tomlinson.
Private services will be held by her family.
