William “Bill” Myles McTiernan of Warminster, PA passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the age of 91.

William was the beloved husband of Carol Bianchi McTiernan and the loving and devoted father of Debbie McDermott and the late Karen Caggiano.

William enjoyed life and loved his family. He was born in Brooklyn, New York and was a United States Navy veteran of World War II, where he served as a Pharmacist Mate Third Class in Okinawa, Guam and other Pacific theatre engagements. After returning home, William supported himself through college while raising a family and graduated from Pace University with a degree in Accounting in 1956. He met his wife Carol at the New York Federal Reserve Bank in 1949 and they were happily married for 64 years.

For most of his career, William worked at Standard Brands, which later became Nabisco Brands as a tax accountant before retiring in the early 1990s. He enjoyed singing in church and leading all family choruses of Happy Birthday. William enjoyed following the stock exchange and commodities markets, college football and basketball, and watching the Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN). William was devoted to Jesus Christ and the Divine Mercy devotion, and attended daily mass at St. Vincent de Paul parish in Richboro.

In addition to his wife, Carol, William is survived by his daughter, Debbie McDermott and her husband, Sean, as well as his grandchildren: Captain Jacqueline McDermott Wintch, USAF and her husband, Captain Timothy Wintch, USAF; Jennifer Daniels and her husband, Will; Matthew McDermott and his wife, Jenna, and Caroline McDermott, and her fiancé, Dillon Madrigal.

In addition to his daughter, Karen, William was preceded in death by his brothers, John “Jackie”, James “Jimmy”, and Peter McTiernan and his sister, Theresa Brown.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 12:00 PM at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 654 Hatboro Rd., Richboro, PA 18954. A Funeral Mass will begin at 1:00 PM followed by William’s interment at Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery in Doylestown, PA.

Dolores Dawson Farley, of Warrington, died peacefully on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Neshaminy Manor Home. She was 91 years old.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, she was a longtime Bucks County resident. She was the mother of the late Walter Dawson Farley.

Having worked for large retail companies, Dolores was a very successful salesperson and enjoyed meeting people and forming relationships with them. She was well-known locally for her operatic voice, and enjoyed singing in her free time. She had been a well-loved resident of the Friends Home in Newtown, PA for over 10 years.

Dolores is survived by her former husband, Walter S. Farley, Jr. and his wife Maggie. 

Her funeral services and interment will be held privately.

Warren O. Huber of Colmar, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2017 at Abington Hospital – Jefferson Health.

He was the loving and devoted husband of Charlotte E. Conrad Huber.

Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Otto and Ruth Heys Huber.

Warren was a proud graduate of Penn State University where he earned his Bachelors degree in Engineering and went on to lead a long career with Ford Aerospace where he retired from in 1989. His career with Ford took he and his family all over the country including California, Colorado Springs, Boston, and then eventually back to Pennsylvania.

Warren was an avid sports fan and enjoyed golfing in his spare time. Along with his wife and family they enjoyed many memorable summer vacations in Avalon, NJ and St. Michael’s, MD. Warren was also an extremely talented wood worker having created models of houses he and his family lived in over the years and his cabinetry was in high demand among friends and family. He will be dearly missed.

In addition to his wife, Warren is survived by his children, Scott A. Huber and his wife, Denise and JoAnn Beaulieu and her husband, Rick. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Carly Huber, Alyson Beaulieu and Warren Kulp; and his brother, Kenneth Huber and his wife, Darla.

John R. Schofield, of Churchville, died Friday, February 17, 2017 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was 74 years old.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Mary Agnes Schofield. He was the beloved husband of Irene “Renee” Halberg Schofield.

John was a proud man with impeccable work ethic. This was demonstrated by his employment as a general manager at Arthur’s Catering in Philadelphia for over 20 years and his longtime position with L-3 Communications as Maintenance Supervisor. A very proud American, John served his country in the 101^st Airbourne Division from 1960-1964. With a positive outlook on life, he frequently commented that he “never had a bad day in his life”.

In addition to his wife, John is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, John and Maureen Schofield and Russell and Claudia Schofield; his step children and their spouses, Eric and Lizanne Weinelt, Debra Weinelt, Erik Halberg and Kerk Halberg. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law Nick and Karen Ruggiero and sister, Patty McEwen. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Alyssa and Krista Schofield; Erica, Elizabeth, Steven and Daniel Weinelt and Luke, Jake, Emily and Ethan Halberg.

John R. Wullert of Warrington, died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017, at Neshaminy Manor Nursing Home in Warrington. He was 90.

He was the beloved husband of the late Miriam D. Walsh Wullert.

Born in Scranton, Pa., he was the son of the late Ignatz “John” and Julia Stolan Wullert. He was the brother-in-law of the late William and Mary Walsh, Conrad Walsh, Eileen Walsh and Mari Walsh.

John graduated from the University of Scranton in 1948 with a degree in physics. He worked for 50 years as an electronic engineer for the Naval Air Development Center at Johnsville and for Veda, Inc, Warminster. One of his main projects was the research and development of remotely piloted vehicles (RPV), today called drones.

John was an active member of St. Cyril’s Church and the Ben Wilson Senior Center. He enjoyed woodworking, teaching and playing bridge, dancing, antique cars, singing in the choir, playing his guitar, and spending time with his family. John will be fondly remembered as a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

He is survived by his six children, Janet A. Sikina and her husband, John of Hatboro, Marie W. Hoffman and her husband, Ralph of Lansdale, John R. Wullert II and his wife, Elizabeth of Martinsville, N.J., Margaret W. Cannon and her husband, Emerson of Exton, Joanne M. Wullert Visscher and her husband, Carl Visscher III of Buckingham and Mark A. Wullert and his wife, Lisa of Warrington; his sister, Ann M. Wullert of Scranton; his brothers-in-law, Carl and Donald Walsh; and his sister-in-law, Frances Walsh. He is also survived by his grandchildren, John Sikina and his wife Mary, Jeff Sikina and his wife, Colleen, Matthew Hoffman, Katie Wullert, Jerry Hoffman, Carl Visscher, Luke Wullert, Mark Wullert, and Jake Wullert; his great-grandchildren, Cole and Emily Sikina, and John Sikina III; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his long-time, dear friend, Ann Lyons.

Rita F. Zitter Fitzpatrick, of Langhorne, PA died peacefully at her residence surrounded by her family on Monday, February 13, 2017. She was 75.

She was the beloved wife of 55 years to Edwin F. Fitzpatrick Jr. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late William and Rita (McDonald) Zitter.

Rita was a member of the United States Navy and the Army Reserve for many years. She was a retiree of Bell Telephone/Verizon and for a period of time worked for the City of Philadelphia under the Frank Rizzo Administration. Rita was an active member of both the Bell Telephone Pioneers and the Feasterville Business Persons Association. After retirement from Bell/Verizon she also worked as a financial advisor for UBS Financial Services. She loved to entertain and enjoyed traveling with family and close friends. She will be greatly missed by everyone whose life she enhanced with her friendship and love.

In addition to her husband Edwin, Rita is survived by her nephew Greg and her nieces: Kelly, Holly, and Jacqueline.

Dorothy Hueber of Warminster died peacefully on Monday, February 13, 2017 at The Birches of Newtown surrounded by her family. She was 88 years old.

She was the beloved wife of the late William J. Hueber for 49 years.

Born in Staten Island, she was the daughter of the late James A. and Dorothy M. Mann Corey, and sister of the late Gerard and James Corey, and Joan McIntyre.

Dorothy retired from the Centennial School District, and was an active member, in many different capacities, of Nativity of Our Lord Parish in Warminster. She loved bowling and trips to the beach, but above all she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and extended family members.

Dorothy is survived by her loving children and their spouses, William and Pam Hueber, Dorothy and Don Bourlier, Bernadette and William Doughterty, Mary and Mark Young, Robert and Liz Hueber and James Hueber. She will be greatly missed by her 16 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law Bernadette and Harry Klumbach.

Thomas Sandusky of New Britain and formerly of Newtown passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Buckingham Valley Rehabilitation and Nursing Center with his loving wife and family by his side. He was 71.

Thomas was the beloved husband of Jeanne Crain Sandusky.

Born in Johnstown, PA he was a son of the late Stephen and Ruth Thomas Sandusky and brother of the late Sue Wood.

Tom attended West Virginia University where he attained his Bachelors and Masters degrees before going on to earn his doctorate from Penn State University. He led a long career as an educator having spent many years teaching at Watchung Hills Regional High School in New Jersey.

Following retirement, Tom joined the adjunct faculty at Holy Family College where he taught student teachers and he also enjoyed dedicating much of his time to volunteering with the Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve.

Above all else, he will be greatly missed as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

In addition to his wife Tom is survived by his children, Carol Sandusky (John Cimino) and Brad Sandusky; his grandchildren Keira and Tommy Sandusky; and his brother, Scott Sandusky (Martha).

He was the beloved husband of the late Ana D. Belardo, devoted father of Cruz Belardo, Jr. and Milagros “Ginger” Negron, also survived by 2 sisters (Maria and Carmen) 1 brother (Illumunado), loving grandfather of 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

John Patrick Timothy Murphy, of Langhorne and formerly of Newtown died peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, February 5, 2017at St. Mary Medical Center. He was 86.

Born in Philadelphia, PA John was the beloved husband of Patricia K. Kurz Murphy and the late Diane D. Raup Murphy, the son of the late John and Mary McLaughlin Murphy and brother to the late Joseph (Trudy), Helen Webster (John), Catherine McCullough (Joseph), William (Marie), and James Murphy.

John was a Proud Veteran of the Navy who honorably served our country during the Korean War. He was a graduate of Pierce College in Philadelphia, and worked for 49 years until retiring in 2000 as a Senior Manager with Strawbridge and Clothier. 

In addition to his wife Patricia, John is survived by his loving children and their spouses: Susan Wilson and Tom, John Murphy and Karen, Nancy Gerstle and Bruce, John McEwing and Karen, and Stewart McEwing and Mayette. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren, one great grandchild, his siblings Peggy Casoni (Peter), Edward, Richard (Betty), Eugene (Carol), and his sister-in-law Patricia.
